MP Opens Nursery’s New Outdoor Play Area

Phil Willis MP formally opened Coppice Park Nursery’s new outdoor play area last Friday
The nursery had been awarded a £9000 outdoor grant from North Yorkshire County Council to improve its outdoor play provision.

Despite the rain the children, parents and staff all turned out to see the ribbon cut.
Nursery owners Isobel and Gilly said,

"The funding from North Yorkshire County Council is enabling us to develop further our outdoor play so that the children can really benefit from the experiences that can only be provided outdoors.

“The grant is much appreciated and will further develop outdoor experiences in the natural environment.”

Phil Willis MP said,

“Seven years ago I opened the nursery and am delighted to be back to open this outdoor play area. It is a fantastic addition to the facilities that Coppice Park Nursery is able to offer.

“I would like to congratulate the staff and everyone involved in the Nursery for the work that they have done in getting this play area up and running.”
